Abstract

Nowadays, the concept of static family has become a dynamic concept with the occurrence of social and cultural changes in Iranian society; Therefore, the resolution of marital conflicts in the family has also changed from the white beard method to social institutions. Counseling centers are one of these institutions that women refer to to solve marital problems. The aim of the current research is to study the experience of women from visiting a counseling center in Isfahan. The present research was conducted using the qualitative method of narrative analysis. The research population consisted of all the women with marital conflict in Isfahan city who had referred to the counseling center for their conflict problem in 1400, and targeted sampling was done. 17 people were selected and studied through in-depth narrative interviews. Data analysis was done through problem solving method. In this study, 5 main themes and 22 sub-themes were identified. The main themes were characters, position, problem, action and solution. Based on the findings of this research, women's experience of counseling is a problem-oriented experience; This means that they are not trying to argue, but they are trying to solve their problems rationally. If their problems are solved, they continue the consultation and if it is not solved, they change the consultant or stop it; Therefore, they have been carried out to reach a suitable solution that is favorable for life, and the problems of most of the referring women in the counseling process have led to providing a solution.
