Abstract

TheYoung people are considered as the human capital of the society and it is very important to know their situation cohabitation is one of the issues observed among young people in the last decade. The main goal of this research is sociological analysis of young people's view of cohabitation. The survey research method and the statistical population included young people aged 20 - 35 in Sosangard city. The sample size was calculated using Morgan and Georji's formula of 384 people and the sample was selected using a multi-stage cluster method according to the sample size. The researcher made a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results of the multivariate analysis of the research showed that social capital, cultural capital, religiosity and background variables were related to the variable of attitude towards cohabitation, so that the higher the cultural and social capital of people, the more positive attitude they have towards They were white for marriage. Also, there was a significant and negative relationship between the level of adherence to religious rites and young people's attitude towards cohabitation, and the more people adhere to religious beliefs and beliefs, the more negative they had towards cohabitation. The variables of education, gender and marital status have a significant relationship with the attitude towards cohabitation; Male respondents, single people and young people with higher educational qualifications had a positive attitude towards cohabitation.
