A Study of Capital Factors Affecting Social Commerce (Case Study: Citizens Over 20 Years of Age in Jolfa City)

Abstract
Social commerce represents the newest and most up-to-date branch of e-commerce that is the outcome of the growth of digital technology and the ever-expanding development of social networks to forge connections with tools such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc. on the Web. This study aims to explore the capital factors affecting social commerce among citizens over 20 years of age in Jolfa city. The research method is a survey and the statistical population consists of people over 20 years of age in Jolfa city. Using the Cochran formula and cluster sampling, n=400 people were selected as a statistical sample for the study. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS software. The questionnaires were distributed in different neighborhoods of the city using the multi-stage cluster sampling method. According to the research findings, the mean social commerce is 3.43 with a standard deviation of 0.58 and the mean social (3.28), cultural (3.47), economic (3.09) and symbolic (3.9) capitals were also obtained. Also, the statistical relationship of social, cultural, economic and symbolic capital with social commerce was confirmed. In the regression test, cultural capital had the highest impact on social commerce. In the final analysis, the key role of capital factors in the expansion of social commerce, especially in commercial cities, will provide a new perspective in investigating the relationships between these variables and social commerce. The results also revealed that in new forms of commerce, especially social commerce, as well as cultural and social capital play a pivotal role in the field of commerce. Therefore, unlike the classical form of commerce, which stressed economic capital, social commerce should be equipped with cultural and social capital in addition to economic capital.
