Abstract
The difference in gender roles is one of the most important biological experiential fields between men and women, which exists throughout societies and cultures, and the division of gender roles begins in childhood and in the stage of socialization and manifests itself in all areas of life. The purpose of this research is to study the sociological relationship It is between addiction to mobile phone social networks and gender roles (female students of Payam Noor University, Sari) in 1402. In terms of purpose, the present research is of applied type, in terms of the type of survey method. The statistical population of this research includes all female students of Payam Noor University in Sari, whose number is 2450. The sample size was estimated to be 395 people using Cochran's formula. The research results show that all five components of social network addiction have a direct and significant relationship with the gender role variable. And finally, 4 components of the amount of use of social networks, the amount of attachment to social networks, the amount of belief in social networks and the amount of participation with others in social networks were able to explain 33% of the variance of the dependent variable of the research.
