Abstract
The main goal of the current research is to measure the attitude of Ardakani citizens towards immigrants and its effect on the feeling of social security. In the current research, the survey method was used to collect data. The statistical population of the research, including citizens over 20 years of age in Ardakan city, is estimated to be 75,721 people. Based on the results of the research, citizens consider many economic, cultural, environmental and health issues and problems of Ardakan city to be affected by immigrants. The results of the present research show that there is a significant relationship between the general attitude of the native citizens of Ardakan towards immigrants and the feeling of social security. There was a significant difference between demographic variables such as age, education and income with the attitude of citizens towards immigrants. In general, it can be concluded from the results of the research that the general attitude of Ardakan people, especially the middle-aged people, is negative towards immigrants. From their point of view, the presence of immigrants has caused the weakening of social values and norms, in such a way that the statistics of crimes and social harms in this city have been increasing and alarming in recent years, and the sense of security has faced a serious threat.
