Abstract
Fear of crime is the feeling of panic, fear, apprehension, worry and stress of a person from security, environmental threats and life and non-life risks that exist in the surrounding environment and it is part of the spiritual pillar of every crime of threat, war, extortion, banditry. The presence of fear of crime is a sign of feeling insecure and the prevalence of defenseless urban atmosphere, such as theft, addiction, vagrancy, quarrels and conflicts, in general, harm and social issues. In Iran, the research results in the period of 1385-1399 indicate a decrease in the level of feeling of social security and the existence of fear of crime. The purpose of this research is to study the sociological roots of fear of crime in Iran with reference to the experimental record (survey) conducted during the above period of time. Is. The research method is quantitative meta-analysis, the statistical population is 46 cases and the sample size is 31 researches. The unit of analysis of the articles and the sampling method is deliberate-non-probability. The results show that in Iran, according to the combination of the general results of 31 research cases, fear of crime is influenced by police factors (satisfaction with police performance, attitude towards police force, attitude towards police performance); media factors ; control factors (informal control and formal control); social capital factors (coherence, participation, trust and support); Economic factors (relative deprivation, socio-economic base) and psychological factors (perceived risk of victimization, feeling of insecurity, social concern).
