Comparative study of the relationship between the development and efficiency of the educational system in the world countries

The main issue in this paper is Two-way causal relationship between educational efficiency in any country and the development in society; it means while education in any society is affected by different levels of development, also as a independent variable influences in economic, social and political development. So the main question is whether the development have relationship with the efficiency of the education system? In present paper, quantitative-comparative method or cross-country analysis and the data of 70 countries in the world related to 1999-2004 have been used. Goodness fit test of structural equation models indicate a good fit of the model with the observed data in 70 countries. The results of regression analysis indicate economic development with 0.27 share, economic development with 0.14 share and social development with 0.29 share independently explain the dependent variable (efficiency of the education system).
