The sociological study of political culture of students in Tehran University and effective factors on it

Abstract

This study considers political culture (which is one of the most important issues in social and political sciences of students) in Tehran University and effective factors on it. To analyze political culture, we used some theories of Amond, Verba, Pay, Rash, Leibet and Dal. In this study, the research method is the technique of collecting data and information through standard questionnaire. And also to analyze, we use SPSS software and analytical statistics such as regression to present the way. At last we wanted to obtain the final model design. The sampling method is simply random and the number of sample by using Kokran formula had been equal with 300 individuals. The research's result indicates that the students' theoretical level of political culture is more than subordinate one. And there is a cleavage between theoretical and behavioral levels in student's political culture. Also some variables such as age and political interests influence on this cleavage, but it didn't confirm the effects of variables including family and social barriers, political trustworthy, political skills, social-economical base on the mentioned cleavage.
