Abstract
The present study, using the method of meta-analysis and systematic review, attempts researches and final conclusions from the studies conducted on the relationship between religion and happiness.
For this purpose, articles published in scientific research journals and university theses at the master's and doctorate level, which were found to be related to the topic of this study and in accordance with other inclusion criteria, were analyzed and after screening among 54 works that met the exclusion criteria. Finally, 14 works qualified for final analysis. In the meta-analysis process, in the first step, the assumptions of no publication bias and homogeneity were investigated.
The findings showed the heterogeneity of the effect size and no publication bias of the studied studies. In the second step, the random effect size coefficient was evaluated according to the heterogeneity of the studies and the role of adjusting the four variables by using the second version of the CMA software.
