Abstract
The concept of duplicity, whose semantic and practical scope is astonishing, despite its immoral appearance, has many functions. So that it forms one of the unbreakable links of our life chain. In this regard, this qualitative research was conducted with the ultimate goal of studying demonstrative behaviors among the people of Hamadan city and using the systematic design of grounded theory. For this purpose, while conducting an open interview with 24 residents of Hamedan city, a series of primary themes were collected during the open coding process, and from them, categories under the headings; "Cultural-social components", "psychological components", "economic components" and "structural-political components" were extracted; Then, in the central coding stage, the link between these categories under the headings; Causal conditions, strategies, intervening conditions, consequences and solutions to deal with demonstrative behaviors were determined in the form of coding. Next, in the selective coding stage, each component of the coding paradigm was explained, and two patterns of "agent-oriented demonstrative behaviors" and "structure-oriented demonstrative behaviors" were discovered. The results indicate that hypocrisy and hypocrisy on a wide level; Both individual and social exist in the society and this phenomenon is the product of unbalanced and sometimes conflicting family, environmental, educational, economic and political conditions. Also, according to the findings of the research, background conditions such as; Social class, education, gender and age of people have an effect on the incidence of hypocrisy and pretense.
