Abstract

The present research has been conducted with the aim of determining the impact of school privatization on the social behavior of students in public and private schools in Mashhad. The statistical population includes students of the second secondary level of education in Mashhad. The population of these students is 104,560, which was equivalent to 20.67% of the total student population of Mashhad who were studying in the academic year of 2019-01. The sample size was calculated based on Morgan's table of 384 people and the research samples were selected randomly. Data analysis was done using SPSS version 21 statistical software. The findings indicated that the average social behavior among students was calculated as 156.30±18.89. By examining the dimensions of social behavior among students, it was determined that the average cooperation dimension among students was 104.33±13.49 and the average self-management among students was 51.96±6.83. The average social character of non-government school students had a high social character. Also, according to the mentioned t-test, two dimensions of social behavior were significant, and non-government schools had relatively better conditions. In the end, it can be said that non-government schools have more ability to reach the goals of education than government schools, and they are more compatible with today's changing environment
